We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account or use myGardenHQ, including:

• Email address and authentication credentials (managed by the Base44 platform)
• Garden data you enter (seeds, plants, harvests, notes, growing spaces)
• Location data such as zip code or USDA hardiness zone, used to personalize planting advice
• Usage data collected automatically (pages visited, features used)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the myGardenHQ service
• Personalize your experience (local weather, frost dates, planting calendars by ZIP code)
• Respond to your support requests and feedback submissions
• Understand how users interact with the app to improve features

We do not send push notifications. Harvest reminders and alerts are displayed within the app when you open it.

3. We Do Not Sell Your Data

We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Your garden data belongs to you.

We use the Pinterest tag to measure the effectiveness of our marketing on Pinterest. This may set a tracking cookie in your browser when you visit our site. You can control cookies through your browser settings. We do not use Google Analytics or other third-party analytics trackers at this time.

6. Data Storage & Access

Your garden data is stored on the Base44 platform, which provides the database, authentication, and hosting infrastructure for myGardenHQ. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to your garden data (seeds, plants, harvests, spaces, friends) is restricted to your account through row-level security controls; only you can read or modify the records you create.

myGardenHQ administrators can access feedback submissions and aggregate usage data for support and improvement purposes. Public content (seasonal guides, seed guides, site settings) is visible to all visitors.

7. Service Providers

myGardenHQ relies on the following service providers:

• Base44 — database, authentication, and hosting infrastructure
• Stripe — payment processing for Pro subscriptions
• Pinterest — marketing conversion tracking

These providers have access to your data only as necessary to provide their services and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to keep you logged in and to measure marketing effectiveness. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

9. Data Deletion

You may delete your garden data at any time from the Settings page. This permanently removes your seeds, plants, harvest logs, garden beds, growing spaces, friends list, and profile settings.

Your authentication account (email address) is managed by the Base44 platform and is not deleted when you clear your garden data. To request full removal of your account record, contact us at hello@mygardenhq.com.
